The funerary monument, located in the vestibule of the church of San Giacomo, has a base on which two unidentifiable shields are engraved, and from which two slender columns rise which in turn, support the front of a sarcophagus.
This marble slab is sculpted with the full figure of a bishop, dressed in vestments, miter and crosier.
This monument is traditionally considered the burial of three bishops from Canne and Barletta, but it is probably only the tomb of Riccardo Galimberti (died in 1439).
Along the upper part of the sarcophagus there is an inscription which is currently illegible, so the portrait can’t be identified with certainty.
